Handball: national team player Kneule extends in Göppingen until 2020

National player Tim Kneule (31) has extended his contract with the Bundesliga club Frisch Auf Göppingen for two more seasons until 2020. This was announced by the first German European Cup winner on Tuesday. The playmaker has been playing for Göppingen since 2006 and won the European Cup four times during this time.

“Tim Kneule is an identification figure at Frisch Auf and also plays an important role with us this season with his good performances”, said Göppingen’s sports director Christian Schöne:”He always acts physically on a high level and plays a central role in attack and defence.”

Kneule said:”I am overjoyed that it has worked with the contract renewal. Based on the time we’ve spent together so far, this is a matter close to my heart.”
