Ice hockey: Again no victory!

The German ice hockey women remained victorious in the fourth test match of the new year. Germany coach Benjamin Hinterstocker’s team lost 6-0 (0-1,0-5,0-0) to hosts Japan in Tokyo. At the beginning of January, the German Ice Hockey Federation’s (DEB) selection for the Nations Cup in Füssen had already started in 2018 with defeats against Olympic champions Canada, Sweden and Switzerland.

For the German team that is not prepared for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang (9. till 25. The tests against the Asian champions are considered as preparation for the 2019 World Cup. On Friday (11.15 a. m.) the DEB selection will play their second match against the Olympic participant Japan.
