Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Witali Mutko has blamed the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for the systematic fraud of doping in Russia.Mutko referred to the personalie Grigory Rodchenkov, who as head of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory was behind the systematic doping practices in Russia.

“They had control of him, they gave him a work permit.But now Russia is being blamed for this,”said the former Sports Minister.

“We have recognized that Rodchenkov himself has violated all the rules, regulations and standards of WADA,”said Mutko to the news agency R-Sport and made it clear:”We fired him,” he continues to insist that the Russian authorities had never conducted a state-sponsored doping program and blamed the Russian anti-doping agency RUSADADA.

“It is necessary to reassure this story and stop blaming all Russian sport because we have been under the control of international sports organisations for two years,”said Mutko.
