NBA: Grizzlies Traded Daniels to the Suns

The Memphis grizzlies broke up with Troy Daniels.He was sent by trade to the Phoenix Suns – primarily to create Cap Space.

As the grizzlies announced, they gave Daniels and a second round pick from 2018 to the Suns.In return, they also received a second round pick in 2018, which is protected.

The grizzlies have now created 15 guaranteed players in the roster and the deal has created a $3.4 million trade exception.

However, the planning in Memphis has not yet been completed.Restricted Free Agent JaMychal Green has still not signed a new contract.They say the grizzlies want to keep him in.So a player would still have to be released if Green were to sign – because more than 15 guaranteed contracts are not allowed.

The Suns, however, have reached 14th place with Daniels, whose contract runs for another two years.guaranteed contract.He earns almost $3.5 million a year.In the past season he had played 8.2 points and 1.5 rebounds.
