MLB: Bryce Harper about to return to Washington Nationals
After his knee injury in August, Washington Nationals Outfielder Bryce Harper could activate Harper on Monday from the Disabled List. But manager Dusty Baker didn’t really want to commit himself yet.
“We’re still trying to make a decision,”Baker said on Sunday after the victory over the New York Mets and added,”I’ll let you know on Monday.”
Harper was on the 12th.On August 11th, he slipped on a wet first base and suffered a bruise at the knee due to the following fall.Since then he has been on the 10-Day DL.Previously he beat. 326 with 29 home runs and 87 RBI in 106 games.
“If you write his racket into the lineup, our lineup is terrifying,” said Pitcher Max Scherzer, praising his team mate:”We can keep up with anyone. And now we’re looking forward to getting Harper back as soon as possible.”
Nationals have already won the National League East and since Sunday they have also secured a home advantage in the National League Division Series.
