MLB: Eduardo Nunez pinches his knee again

Eduardo Nunez has apparently injured his knee again.The Boston Red Sox infielder made his comeback in the game against the Toronto Blue Jays (4-6) but had to be replaced early.

Nunez missed 13 games at a time with a knee injury and was back in the Sox lineup for the first time on Monday.In his first At-Bat he beat a double and then scored a run.

In the second attempt, however, he went down after a foul ball, but ended the At-Bat with a lineout.Afterwards he was replaced with great pain.

However, according to initial investigations, Nunez suffered no further damage to his knee.According to media reports, however, it is not expected that the versatile infielder, which was only acquired by the San Francisco Giants in July, will be reappearing in the series against Toronto.

For the Red Sox Nunez has beaten. 313 with eight home runs and 27 RBI in just 37 games.
