“Today is a great day in the history of Texas Rangers and the city of Arlington,” said Ray Davis, one of the owners of Texas Rangers. And in 30 months, we’ll be playing baseball here.”
“We have a proverb in Arlington:” We are dreaming big and turning our dreams into reality,”said Mayor Jeff Williams,” today we are celebrating one of these dreams, and Commissioner Rob Manfred spoke of an “amazing project. He had never seen a stadium project go off so quickly and smoothly.
The new ball park will offer space for around 41,000 spectators. The highlight: the stadium is equipped with a roof that can be opened or closed as required. In addition, the entire system will be equipped with an air conditioning system – pleasant for the spectators in the sultry Texas heat.A ball park with a retractable roof is urgently needed here,”said Hall of Fame-Catcher Ivan Rodriguez, who opened the current ball park as a player in 1994,” The pitcher will come here and play here.
