NFL: Glennon disaster – Packers drive over Bears

The Bears couldn’t have started the game worse.Aaron Rodgers first put the badly-stricken Packers team in the lead with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams.Then Mike Glennon fumbled deep in his own half after a stripped sack of Clay Matthews to reposition the packers for easy points.

The highly anticipated Bears race game was, after the early and high backlog, meaningless for the first time.After incomprehensible signal calling, Glennon fumbled again at the end of the first quarter when a snap bounced off his knee and the packers were awarded the contract again.

The problems, which had already caused the Packers fans a lot of worries and doubts before the game, were hardly an issue.The Packers-Offense acted fast and with many position changes on the line of scrimmage.Rodgers knew how to bring his receivers into the match via a multitude of short passes, putting Tight End Martellus Bennett in the limelight for the first time.

The Bears front rarely managed to put Rodgers under pressure.The running-game of the packers around Rookie Aaron Jones also benefited from the high movement rate of the Bears-Defense.The backup rolls in the Packers-Line in Lane Taylor, Lucas Patrick and Justin McCray did a very good job.

Just as the Bears got their offense rolling after the long storm break, Mike Glennon stopped Bears momentum with a horrible overthrow.The heavy rain would like to have done the rest, but the pick was clearly on the cap of the former Buccaneers quarterback.

With the ensuing play, Rodgers fired a 58-yard bomb towards Jordy Nelson, who positioned the packers on the 2-yard line for a Rushing score by Aaron Jones.Green Bay controlled the game at will from that moment on.

The late touchdown drive might have saved him from early benching just before the halftime break.Apart from the turnovers, the whole offense up to that particular drive didn’t look good.Even short passes on the Line Scrimmage were inaccurate.At the end of the third quarter, Glennon finished the game early with his second pick.
