NBA: Ingram-Gamewinner against Philly, OKC with bankruptcy in Mexico

Brandon Ingram meets a game winner for the Lakers at the Philadelphia 76ers and the Thunders win a bankruptcy against the Nets at the Global Games. Plus, Bradley Beal wears the wizards to victory and the rockets stay hot.

Playoff atmosphere in Philly! After all, the Lakers were a team that could one day be as talented as the Sixers – and of course you want to show where the only true process takes place. And so a great game developed, in which the guests had the upper hand over long distances. But whipped by the audience, the Sixers recovered from a 16-point gap.

Just under 40 seconds before the end, a strong Joel Embiid equalled the matter from the free-throw line. In the following attack, Lonzo Ball threw out a threesome, so Philly had the ball again. This time, however, Embiid was unsuccessful, so it went in the other direction again. And then came the big performance of Ball and Brandon Ingram. The Point Guard moved to the baseline, and the helpers around him pulled themselves together. This was followed by a precise point pass on Ingram to the three-line – and the 20-year-old kept his nerves intact. With 0.8 seconds left on the clock, the ball flew through the cage. Gamewinner!

“He played a great pass,”said Ingram afterwards about Ball,”and I had enough self-confidence for the throw,” while LaVar Ball, who was also present and often involved with the crowd, claimed that Lonzo had seen and planned this pass long before he actually played it.

Ingram finished the game with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, ball sniffed at a triple double (10 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists). Seven Lakers players scored double-digit points. On the other side Embiid played 33 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks, Robert Covington scored 19 points.

This man has a run! In the absence of John Wall, who’s on suspension with knee problems, Bradley Beal literally blossoms and delivers the next show after his 51-point gala against Portland.

Early in the game, the hosts had to fear bad things. Beal was immediately at the rhythm and carried the offense of his team, already had 22 points in the halftime. But that wasn’t enough to shake off stubborn Suns: they were always within reach, 5:46 minutes from the end of the game at 96:98. The hosts left a lot to be desired, however, so that the capitals ended the evening with an 11:3 run.

Beal cooled down a bit in the course of the game, but ended up with 34 points (13/22 FG). He was assisted by Markieff Morris, who finished efficiently (8/12 FG) and played 21 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. made a decent game of the bank (12 points). All starters scored double-digit points in the Suns, which currently have to manage without Devin Booker, who was injured at the adductors, including T. J. Warren (23) and Greg Monroe (15).
