NBA: Will PG-13 stay in OKC?”I’m not giving up.”

The season of the Oklahoma City Thunder is still not going as expected, the “Superteam” is currently on a 16-15 record. Since Paul George and Carmelo Anthony will become free agents after the season, it is already being discussed whether OKC should end the experiment prematurely.

George has been said for a long time that he would like to join the Los Angeles Lakers. OKC had hoped to change his mind, but since not much has been working optimally so far, some insiders expect that George could be traded before the deadline, so that OKC would not end up empty-handed.

“It’s a three-man circus,”said an anonymous executive to the Bleacher report.”They don’t play well together. There is no ball movement, no chemistry. George must be frustrated. You can tell by the way he plays. He plays completely without enthusiasm, as if he were a third wheel or something like that.”

George currently achieves an average score of 19.8 points and has the lowest casting rate in years (40.5 percent). On Bleacher’s report, however, he said that he expects that he, Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook will be able to pull the rudder,”We will steer the right course this season. I’m sure we’ll be satisfied with our position later in the season, in April or May.”

The former star of the Indiana Pacers, who had come this summer for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Singapore, acknowledged that the situation in OKC is somewhat special due to the contracts:”It’s our only guaranteed year together. I want to put it all in there and see where we land. I’m not giving up. I’ll give everything I have, and then we’ll see where it takes us.”

He did not want to give an assessment of his future in this respect,”We like to play together. I may be spending several years here. But I’m not someone who just gives up and says I’m done here. We have a long, long, long, long season ahead of us. And that’s what I’m focusing on.”
