Cycling: Ex-Pro Matzka locked up for two years because of doping

The World Cycling Federation UCI has suspended the former German professional Ralf Matzka for two years because of doping. This was announced by the association on Monday.

Matzka (28) was on 3. In March 2016 during a check positive for the prohibited substance tamoxifen had been tested, the sample contained small traces of the hormone and metabolic modulator.

Matzka drove for Team Bora-Argon 18, predecessor of the current team Bora-hansgrohe. He contested his last race in April 2016 on the Flanders Tour.
