After that, the Königsetappe follows from Bonn over 212 km across the Eifel to Trier. The decisive gaps for the overall standings could be created there.

The starting point of the third stage is also Trier, the way leads the peloton over 177 km to Merzig in Saarland, another sprint decision is conceivable. The last section finally runs from Lorsch in southern Hesse over 200 km to Stuttgart, where the 2007 World Cup circuit over the Herdweg is used and the overall winners are selected in the city centre.
