MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers put Clayton Kershaw on Disabled List
The Los Angeles Dodgers have put Pitching Ace Clayton Kershaw on the 10-Day Disabled List. The left-handed person suffers from a bicep injury.
Kershaw was sent back to Los Angeles even before the last game of the “Mexico Series” in Monterrey/Mexico against the San Diego Padres on Sunday. There he will be examined by team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Meanwhile, left-handed Rich Hill was activated by DL as a replacement for Kershaw. This will start on Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was out of action with a broken fingernail.
Kershaw has had problems over and over again and allowed nine earned runs over 18 innings in his last three starts.
This is Kershaw’s third year in series production on the DL. In 2016 he missed almost two months with a slipped disc, in 2017 it was five weeks with back problems.
