Tour de France: The 6th stage today live on TV, live stream and live ticker

The Tour de France starts today in stage 6 (at the LIVETICKER). The final mountain has to be climbed twice within the last 16 kilometres. Here you can find the most important information about the track profile and the transfer of the race.

The 6th stage runs from Brest to Mur-de-Bretagne and is 181 km long. The Mur-de-Bretagne is a well-known destination of the Tour de France and offers a mountain that has to be crossed twice within the last 16 km. Previously, however, there were only two, smaller mountain classifications.

The Tour de France can be seen on two free TV channels this year. Both ARD and Eurosport 1 will broadcast all races live. The first one, however, only shows the second half of the stage, but before that you can already tune in to the sister station One.

All three stations also offer a free live stream on the Internet. You can find them here:

For those who are not able to watch the race in moving images, SPOX offers a live ticker for each stage. The ticker of the 6th stage can be found here.

So far, two riders have each won two of the five stages. Fernando Gaviria won the first and fourth stages of his first tour. Veteran Peter Sagan, on the other hand, won the second and fifth stages and took over after the green jersey. This honour is now being bestowed upon him for the 90th time, replacing the previous record holder Erik Zabel.

The current leader in the overall standings is the Belgian Greg van Avermaet, who has a 57-second lead over top favourite Christopher Froome.

The Tour de France 2018 will have a total of 21 sections. More information about the stages can be found here.
