Tour de France: 7th stage live on TV today, live stream and live ticker
The Tour de France will start stage 7 today, Friday. Spox gives you all the important information about the race and shows you where you can follow the event live.
After two hilly days, sprinters in particular should get their money’s worth on the track. The race starts at 12:20.
This year, two free-TV stations will be broadcasting the Tour de France: In addition to Eurosport, ARD also shows all races live.
The public broadcaster only broadcasts the second half of the stage, the start can be seen on the sister station One.
All three stations also offer a free live stream on the Internet. You can find them here:
If you can’t see the race live, you can still stay up to date here. SPOX offers a live ticker for each stage. The ticker of the 7th stage can be found here.
The 231 km stage from Fougeres to Chartes is the longest route the riders have to cover on this tour. Favourites for victory are above all the sprint experts.
The course is almost exclusively flat over the entire distance and is therefore the perfect terrain for the sprinters, who have to pay attention to the wind conditions, especially in the second half of the race. During his last visit to Chartres, Bradley Wiggins won the time trial of the 19th stage in 2012 ahead of his Sky team mate Chris Froome.
