Tour de France: See stage 10 live

The Tour de France continues in its tenth stage in the Alps today. After a day of rest, the drivers now have to prepare for the mountains. SPOX will give you all the important information about the section and show you where you can follow the stage live on TV and live on the Internet.

The stage runs 158.5 km from Annecy to Le Grand Bornand and is the first of three stages in the French Alps. With twenty mountain points in the highest category, the course could not bring in more mountain points.

Accordingly, the route has a lot to offer. Four heavy mountains are to be conquered, in addition a technique test comes directly after the second mountain. On the Montee du plateau des Glieres follow two kilometres on a dirt road without asphalt, where there is a high risk of falling.

The start of the stage is at 1.15 pm, the finish is expected between 5.42 pm and 6.15 pm.

The tenth stage starts comparatively late. From 1.05 pm One shows the start of the stage as usual, until Eurosport takes over at 1.35 pm. The stage finale from 4.05 pm will then broadcast Das Erste.

The sports show offers a continuous live stream of the stage on the Internet. In addition, Eurosport will broadcast the section in the chargeable Eurosport Player.

If you can’t follow the stage on any of these channels, SPOX also offers you a live ticker for the stage.

There were no changes to the jerseys even after the ninth stage. Greg van Avermaet is still wearing the yellow jersey, but could lose it after today’s mountain stage. The Green Jersey is still worn by the five-time winner of the points classification, Peter Sagan. The polka-dot jersey still wears Tom Skujin’s jersey, but already after this stage there could be some changes there.

In the ninth stage, John Degenkolb was once again a German who won the stage. Earlier, Peter Sagan, Dylan Groenewegen and Fernando Gaviria had each celebrated two stage victories. The nine stages to date have thus been dominated by sprinters.

However, it will not be enough to win the overall standings for all of them. Favourite Richie Porte had to give up the ninth stage after a crash on the first ten kilometres. Porte was considered one of the toughest opponents of defending champion and overall winner Chris Froome.

Rigoberto Uran was another rider who could win the overall standings. At first he was able to continue, but lost valuable seconds.
