On Monday, 23 July, the Tour de France will pause. The riders are gathering strength for the 16th stage of the tour, which will be 218 kilometres long. SPOX tells you where and when the riders will start the 16th stage.

On the way to the final stage of Paris, the drivers still have five stages to go. Today the drivers take a break.

The 16th stage of the tour starts on Tuesday, 24 July, at 11.40 a.m. From Carcassonne, professional cyclists ride 218 kilometres up a mountain to Bagnères-de-Luchon. There are a total of five climbs between categories 1-4 and two sprint classifications on the course.

The 16th stage of the Tour de France can be seen from 11.20 a.m. on www.sportschau.de in the livestream. In addition, ARD will broadcast the tour live on German television on One.
