NBA: Cavs star Kevin Love drops out for a long time
Kevin Love could be missing from the Cleveland Cavaliers for more than a month due to a toe injury, ESPN reports. The Power Forward already missed the last two matches of his team, now they consult with the doctors.
The injury should cause great pain for the five-time All-Star, in combination with the already disastrous start to the season for the Cavs, who have all lost their first six games, a hasty return makes no sense.
That’s why his team could spare him for over a month now. After all, the 30-year-old injured himself already in the preseason and still had no chance to cure.
It was not until the summer that Love signed a four-year contract extension, which will earn him $120 million.
In the first four games of the season, he scored an average of 19 points and rebounded 13.5. However, he only shot 32 percent from the field and 29 percent from the three-way line.
