Boxing: Fury warns Wilder: “Biggest mistake of his life”
Around a week before the WBC heavyweight showdown, Tyson Fury is self-confident against title winner Deontay Wilder (Sunday, live on DAZN from around 3am). The Brit believes that Wilder makes the “biggest mistake of his life” when he gets into the ring with him.
“The Bronze Bomber made the biggest mistake of his life when he talked me into this fight,” Fury is quoted in The Daily Mail. Actually, Wilder’s management had spent months in tough negotiations with Anthony Joshua’s retinue, gritting their teeth. Since there was no fight, Fury is taken care of.
Fury doesn’t want to leave it like that and provokes: “Wilder hasn’t yet noticed that it was me who chose him and not the other way around. It’ll be a terrible shock to him when he sees me in the ring. When he sees that I’ve already beaten him.”
The showdown between Wilder and Fury will take place on December 1st at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Due to the time difference, the meeting begins on 2 December at around 3 a.m. CET. The fight can be seen in full length exclusively on the DAZN streaming portal.
In addition to various boxing events, the “Netflix des Sports” also features many other sports highlights. For example, DAZN shows matches from the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, Primera Division, Ligue 1 and Serie A live and exclusively. A subscription costs 9.99 euros per month and can be cancelled at any time at the end of the month. Click here for the free trial month.
