NBA: 42! LeBron hoists Lakers to the next victory – PG-13 and Curry brand hot

LeBron James leads L.A. Lakers to their fourth consecutive win and scores 20 points in the final quarter against San Antonio Spurs. Meanwhile the OKC Thunder are fighting for a comeback victory against the Brooklyn Nets – Paul George convinces with 25 points in the last part of the game. Stephen Curry is hot in his second game after the injury.

For years this was the top duel of the NBA, four times in a row the Cavs competed against the Warriors in the finals. At the end of this season we will certainly not see this matchup. However, the roles were not so clearly distributed today, although superstar Stephen Curry started the game directly hot.

In the first quarter alone, the finally fit Point Guard scored 16 points, whereby he also directly turned four threes. On the other hand, Rodney Hood was able to keep up and scored 11 points in the first six minutes, but then the rest of his team had to help him out.

Before the break, the Cavs came back and worked their way up the lead. Especially from outside they could convince until then, 10 out of 20 threes found their way into the basket. Hood finally finished the half time with a rare Alley-oop-Jumpshot.

Curry came out of the cabin with 25 counters already and goes straight on where he left off. However, Cleveland held against it, despite the diminishing heat from downtown, they stayed in the game with good team basketball. However, the Warriors made it clear in the final quarter who would be the winner here.

After Kevin Durant finished the third quarter with a deep triple, Golden State really picked up speed and won the final section dominant with 34:19. Curry turned 9 of his 14 throws from Downtown into 42 points (11/20 FG). Team mate Durant finished the game with 25 points (9/16 FG), 10 rebounds and 9 assists.

Rookie Collin Sexton scored the most points for the Cavs (21, 7/14 FG), Jordan Clarkson scored 17 points (7/17 FG) and Hood 15 points (6/16 FG). Tristan Thompson trumped with a strong double double, 14 points (6/8 FG) and 19 boards.

The nuggets continued their outstanding start to the season and fought their way to a narrow victory over the Magic, which did not let up until the end. Aaron Gordon found his rhythm directly and scored 13 points in the first leg. Denver had problems with the free-throw line from the beginning (8/13 FT), but finally took the lead.

Both teams convinced with their effectiveness and shot over 55 percent out of the field until the half-time break. Already at this point Orlando tried as many threes (8/19 3FG) as the nuggets throughout the match. Nikola Jokic convinced again with his skilful passing and already distributed 8 assists, buyer Jamal Murray scored 15 points.

Furthermore, the game remained balanced, no team was able to distance itself with a run. However, Denver took the lead shortly before the end and only a late trio of Terrence Ross (17 points) equalized the score and gave us the over-time.

In this game the Magic didn’t have much to oppose and despite the weak free-throw performance (23/37 FT) of the nuggets, they brought the thing home. Murray scored 31 points and 8 assists overall, but scored only 10/25 FG. Jokic scored past the triple-double and came to 12 points (5/13 FG), 13 assists and 8 boards.

Gordon appeared less in the second half and scored finally 19 points (8/19 FG). Nikola Vucevic had 24 points (11/19 FG) on his account and got 15 rebounds. Top-scorer of the Magic was Evan Fournier with 26 points (6/10 3FG). Rookie Mo Bamba scored 11 points and 6 rebounds coming from the bank.

A victory of the Wizards over the Hawks, who had nothing to oppose in the first half. Star-Point Guard John Wall wasn’t in action, but Washington set a new season’s best score of assists, 35 times Beal and Co. Their hits will be scored on each other.

Speaking of Bradley Beal, he was in a good mood right from the start and didn’t let Atlanta breathe. Together with Kelly Oubre the Wizards started a 16:4 run in the next quarter and won it with 15 points. Among other things, free throws were the reason, Washington transformed 19 of their 20 attempts from the line and this alone only in the first two quarters.

Meanwhile, the Hawks didn’t put anything in the basket, from the outside they almost knocked everything off (4/23 3FG), yet they were able to create a touch of tension after restart. They scored a total of 45 points in the third leg of the game, although they did not come close to more than five points. Rookie Trae Young (14 points, 4/13 FG) lost their nerves at the layup and Tomas Satoransky (14) extended the lead for the Wizards again.

Beal finished the match with a new season best of 36 points (12/22 FG), in addition he had 9 assists and grabbed 6 boards. Team mate Otto Porter scored 20 points (9/19 FG) and got 11 rebounds, but also lost the ball 6 times. For the Hawks sophomore John Collins scored 26 points (12/17 FG) and scored 14 rebounds. Kent Bazemore scored 22 points (8/18 FG).
