Strained NFL players turn themselves in

After a robbery at a party, two NFL players are wanted by warrant. DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar have since volunteered to surrender.

The two NFL players wanted by warrant on charges of armed robbery have given themselves up to the police.

DeAndre Baker of the New York Giants and Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks voluntarily surrendered to the authorities to clear up what happened at a party in Miramar, Florida, on Wednesday night.

“I have faith in the system. We believe our client is innocent and we have testimony from various witnesses that exonerate him,” said Baker’s attorney Bradford Cohen.

Baker (22) and Dunbar (27) are said to have been involved in an argument at the party, in which Baker pulled a gun. Afterwards he and Dunbar robbed several guests. The two had taken several thousand dollars in cash, expensive watches and other valuable items before they left the party.

Baker was selected in the 2019 draft by the Giants in the first round. Dunbar played for the Washington Redskins last season before moving to the Seahawks in March.
