NBA star misses rest of season
Bad news for the fans of the San Antonio Spurs. Before the NBA season’s re-launch, the franchise is announcing the end of a star’s season due to injury.
Bitter news for the San Antonio Spurs.
According to the team, Power Forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be out for the rest of the season. The reason for this is a shoulder operation that was already performed on 24th April.
On 21 February, the 34-year-old injured himself in the game against Utah Jazz. The seven-time All-Star was still in the game, but then dropped out six games in a row before returning to win against the Dallas Mavericks. Just one day later, the NBA announced the season’s interruption due to the Corona crisis.
Aldridge fit again next season
According to the franchise, Aldridge, who recorded an average of 18.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and more than 33 minutes per game, should be fully resilient again at the start of training for the new season.
The Spurs are among the 22 teams that will be part of the season’s continuation at Disney World in Florida.
