Next NFL star tested positive

The number of NFL professionals tested positive for corona continues to rise. A few days after Ezekiel Elliott, the disease is also detected in Kareem Jackson.

NFL star Kareem Jackson tested positive for Covid-19. The cornerback of the Denver Broncos confirmed consistent reports from US media to the local TV station KUSA-TV.

This brings the number of professionals in the world’s top football league who have tested positive for Corona to four. Only on Monday the virus was detected in Ezekiel Elliott by the Dallas Cowboys.

Jackson, like several other NFL stars, took part in a demonstration in early June. According to the reports, however, the 32-year-old is assumed to have been infected only after that.

The new season is scheduled to start in September. Currently, the franchises’ training facilities are still closed to players due to the pandemic. Only trainers and other employees may use them.
