NBA star close to Jordan record

Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets scores at least 40 points in their third consecutive playoff game, forcing a game seven for the Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets force the final showdown against Utah Jazz.

In game six of the best-of-seven series, the Nuggets won 119-107, turning a 3-1 deficit in the series into a chance to advance.

Outstanding man at the Colorado franchise was once again Jamal Murray. The Guard scored 50 points, collected five rebounds and distributed six basket designs. It was the third game in a row in which Murray scored at least 40 points.

According to ESPN, only Michael Jordan (four games) has so far broken the 40-point barrier in more playoff games in a row.

Murray was supported by Nikola Jokic (22 points) and Jerami Grant (18 points).

Murray also won the highly regarded duel with Donovan Mitchell (44 points). The duo had already set a record in the course of the series when they each broke the 50-point mark.
