MLB: Goose Gosse attacker Yankees General Manager: Fucking Asshole.

Hall-of-famer Rich “Goose” Gossage is mad. The former relief pitcher of the New York Yankees received no invitation this year as a guest instructor in jumping training and gave free rein to his frustration about it. General Manager Brian Cashman.

In a conversation with the New York Daily News, Gossage didn’t leave Cashman with a clue:”He would have been gone ten years ago had George Steinbrenner still been alive.” And “Goose” added:”He would have been gone when he jumped out of that damn plane. You think he’s really a good fucking baseball man? He doesn’t believe in fucking coaching.”

But that’s not all:”Well, with power you seem to become a fucking asshole. Is that what’s happening? I don’t know.”

Once in rage, Gossage, who came to 310 saves in his career, also commented on the Yankees’ change of manager this winter:”Cashman had a good manager with Joe Girardi. But they wouldn’t let him manage it. They want you to manage it the way they want you to. And he can get one of his nerds from the front office and put it in the dugout. If he had balls, that’s what he would do, but he doesn’t have balls.”

However, Gossage cannot explain why exactly he was no longer invited:”We got along with each other. I liked you, but then something changed,”Gossage told the Yankees GM. But:”He did not answer. He didn’t say a word.”

One possible reason could be that Gossage has repeatedly made various explosive statements about players of other teams and the baseball landscape in general.

Among other things, he said:”I’ll tell you what happened: these guys played rotisserie baseball in Harvard or wherever they went to college. And they thought they got the goddamn game. They don’t know shit.”
