Olympia 2018: Ski Freestyle: Swiss double victory through Höfflin and Gremaud

The freestyle skiers Sarah Höfflin and Mathilde Gremaud have secured a Swiss one-two victory in the Olympic Slopestyle competition.

Höfflin won gold at the Pyeongchang Winter Games with 91.20 points, ahead of Gremaud (88.00) and Isabel Atkin from Great Britain (82.60).

Höfflin (27), who won X-Games in January in the Big Air event, made her best attempt in the third and final round,”I can hardly believe it. It went so badly in the training sessions,”said Höfflin:”The best thing today is that I’m on the podium with my team mate. It’s a dream.”

Kea Kühnel (Bremerhaven) missed the final in her Olympic debut. The 26-year-old finished 18th in the qualification. World champion Tess Ledeux (France) also finished in 15th place. to the final of the top twelve.
