NBA: Media: Blazers engage Brandon Rush for ten days

According to media reports, the Portland Trail Blazers have awarded one of their two free rust spots. According to this agreement, the contractless Guard Brandon Rush will initially sign for 10 days in Oregon.

This is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Guard tried his luck as a non-guaranteed player in the Milwaukee Bucks training camp in the summer, but was unable to sign a contract. Already in summer Rush spent some time in Portland.

The Blazers will now occupy one of the two roster spots in the squad for ten days. For Rush, it’s like a return trip. The guard was pulled to position 13 by the Blazers in the 2008 draft. However, the 32-year-old never played for Portland as he was part of a trade that brought him, along with Jarrett Jack and Josh McRoberts, to the Indiana Pacers. In return, the Blazers got Jerryd Bayless and Ike Diogu.

The shooting guard spent three years with the Pacers. After that he also played for the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors and the Minneosta Timberwolves. He even won a title with the Dubs in 2015.
