Locked in the NHL, sentenced in the USA, but on the ice at the Olympics: Russian international Slawa Wojnow provokes irritation in Pyeongchang. The former Stanley Cup winner with the Los Angeles Kings had beaten his wife to hospital maturity in 2014, had subsequently been withdrawn from circulation by the League and sentenced to 90 days in prison by a judge for domestic violence.

The defender, who has been in Russia’s KHL since 2015 for SKA St. Petersburg, does not express itself in Pyeongchang itself.
