The first in the top 10 is Bob Cousy of the Boston Celtics. The Point Guard earned his living in the 1950s and ended his active career in 1963, earning 33 triple doubles.
The first active player on the list is James Harden of the Houston Rockets. In 2013, The Beard won the first triple double of his career against Charlotte with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. The next in line is Larry Legend. In his Boston Celtics, the Hall of Famer won the triple double 59 times. Bird doesn’t get as many points as Harden does. But once it was enough for only 49 points next to 14 boards and 12 templates.
The King himself is currently in sixth place of the triple double machines. Thereby, 43 points were the highest yield of James in a triple double.
The Big Dipper is still standing in front of the king when it comes to TDs. However, a look at Chamberlain’s stats shows that he managed not only ten rebounds, but at least 20 boards. Against the Lakers in 1968 there were 53 points, 32 rebounds and 14 assists for Wilt on the blackboard.
