MLB: 2018 Season Previews – AL Central: The pressure of sudden success

In the American League Central, the 2018 season could become a duel between the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins. Both were convincing with extraordinary seasons, but there are also problems with that. Behind it it says: rebuild, rebuild, rebuild.

For the White Sox, the most important thing is to introduce the numerous youngsters and give them time to develop themselves. If there are more than 70 victories, that would already be a success. It will be important to continue the positive development and not dare to make hasty decisions.

The pitching rotation is not high class and therefore will not provide the necessary support to be a long part of any race. In the lineup itself there is also not enough firepower, while defensively there are a few gaps too many.

Forecast: 5th place in the AL Central.
