NBA: Up to two weeks break? Ricky Rubio lacks the Utah Jazz

After Ricky Rubio injured his thigh in the decisive game 6 against Oklahoma City Thunder, the Utah Jazz will probably have to do without their point guard for some time now.

As Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports with reference to anonymous sources, the jazz assumes that they will have to do without Rubio for about ten days. According to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune, the Spaniard could even be out for several weeks.

Rubio had to leave game 6 against the Thunder already in the first quarter after complaints on the left thigh. Nevertheless Utah defeated OKC, in the second round of the playoffs the Jazz now meet the Houston Rockets (Sun, 9.30 pm in the LIVESTREAM FOR FREE on SPOX).

Against the top team of the Western Conference the Jazz have to get along without their point guard. Rubio was already struggling with problems on his left thigh in April of this year, which forced him to suspend a few games. Now, according to Woj, one hopes that Rubio could return to the stage even earlier than the estimated ten days, depending on the healing process.

In five games in the first playoff round against the Thunder, Rubio averaged 14 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7 assists and 1.3 steals.
