This season SPOX shows selected games of the MLB Regular Season at LIVESTREAM FOR FREE. The first match was the close away win of the San Francisco Giants against the Atlanta Braves. Now we increase the number of strokes and look at the top game par excellence in the AL Central at the beginning of June.
Many more games are of course available as usual at the DAZN streaming service, which you can subscribe to for 9.99 euros a month. The first month is free.
The Cleveland Indians travel to Minneapolis/Minnesota in early June for a three-game series in Target Field. The final of the series against the Twins will take place on 3 June at 20:10 CEST.
The starting pitchers for this game have not yet been determined and will be announced just a few days before the game.
From a German point of view, the Twins clearly focus on Max Kepler. The outfielder plays his third full season in the MLB and got off to a good start of the year. Offensively he counts in almost all categories in the Top 5 of the Twins and seems to have even got his problems against left-handed pitcher under control. Three of his six home runs came against Lefties!
Also to note is Keplers Outfield colleague Eddie Rosario, who leads the Twins in home runs and, like Kepler, could make his big breakthrough in 2018.
As in the last two successful seasons – the Indians both won their divisions and were even in the World Series in 2016 – the Indians’ top players this season are once again Third Baseman Jose Ramirez and Shortstop Francisco Lindor. Both have been in strong form since the start of the season and, like Designated Hitter Edwin Encarnacion, are among the MLB home run leaders.
In pitching, the Indians with Cy-Young winner Corey Kluber and Trevor Bauer have two of the best pitchers in the league. Both stand for many strikeouts and make few mistakes.
