MLB: Conlon reacts to two changes within a few days with humor

PJ Conlon has had a turbulent week. First he was released by the New York Mets, then he ended up with the Los Angeles Dodgers, who returned him to the Mets after two days. The pitcher responded with two tweets that looked very similar.

Conlon was the first Irishman to make history earlier this season, having made it to the Big Leagues since 1945. After two starts, however, Conlon was “designated for assignment” by the Mets and the Dodgers took the left-hander from the Waiver Wire.

That was June 2nd and Conlon reacted with joy on Twitter.

A few days later, however, the Dodgers put him on the waiver list, whereupon the Mets brought him back. So he was back with his first team and was forced to write another tweet.

But he didn’t do too much work and took a screenshot in which he crossed out a few key words and exchanged them for the now valid terms.

An original way to deal with such drastic transactions with humour in such a short time.
