NFL: Raiders: Mack Trade Rumors Gather Momentum

Is the NFL actually experiencing a monster trade this year? Pass-Rusher Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders is still in the holdout and wants a new deal, both sides should be far apart. Now the trade rumors are getting more intense.

As Pro Football Talk has learned, the Raiders are keeping the door of a possible trade open and about twelve teams are expected to show interest.

Furthermore: According to PFT, four teams have very specific interests and are seriously discussing the possibility of a trade. The 27-year-old will enter the final year of his rookie contract in 2018 and would be an unrestricted free agent after the coming season.

If his holdout extends into the regular season, it would cost him over $800,000 per game.

Depending on what Aaron Donald receives from the Los Angeles Rams – this sum should be the basis for Mack’s contract. That could quickly add up to $23.24 million a year.
