MLB: Does NY superstar play despite a broken wrist?

Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees has announced that he will play again before his broken wrist is completely healed. Only pain kept him from making a comeback.

“I heard it was playable because I didn’t need surgery or anything,” Judge told reporters on Tuesday. “I can play with it before it’s completely healed. It’s just that the pain stops altogether.”

The original prognosis was that Judge could play again after a hit-by-pitch on July 26 after three weeks due to his fracture in the right wrist. He has been missing for almost five weeks now.

Since the swelling had subsided, the doctors tried to test the freedom of movement of the wrist. But according to Judge there is still pain. Therefore, he had not yet thrown a ball or swung a bat again with full power. “It’s still broken,” said Judge.

The Yankees, however, continue to assume that it won’t be long before Judge returns to the lineup as soon as the pain is gone. But when that is the case is in the stars.

“I’ll wake up one day and feel good. I’m just waiting for this day,” Judge described his current approach.
