The Houston Rockets have lost their second game of the preseason against the Indiana Pacers, but still can build on some things. Among others on the performance of Isaiah Hartenstein. Although the 20-year-old forward only played for eleven minutes, he showed his entire repertoire there. He started with an And-One, followed shortly after by a threesome and then even transformed a Chris-Paul-Alley into the best Clint-Capela style.
The other appearance of the Rockets was not particularly intoxicating. James Harden, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony each stood around 30 minutes on the floor, but could not really take the game.
Victor Oladipo was very different for the Pacers: last year’s All-Star scored as many points in 24 minutes and scored 9 of his 18 attempts out of the field. As a special highlight he finished the first half with a buzzer beater from far behind the three-way line. He got support from the bank especially in Domantas Sabonis (15 points, 12 rebounds) and Edmond Sumner (13 points, 6/8 FG).
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have won their first win together. For a long time, the Sacramento Kings didn’t look like a success, but in the final phase Brandon Ingram, who was the best man at the Lakers with 31 points in 18 minutes, and Kyle Kuzma secured the victory.
LeBron James were given little time during the game and left the young players to take the lead even in the tight final stages. In his 15 minutes on the field, however, the King showed what he can do and scored 18 points (6/10 FG) on the scoreboard. All in all, the men in Purple Gold showed a strong performance especially in the offensive and transformed as a team more than half of their litters (53.2 percent), on the other side of the court was still missing the vote, which led to many easy points of the Kings.
In the Kings, six players scored double-digit points, with No.2-Pick Mavin Bagley III having a good day and playing a double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds). Yogi Ferrell was not in the squad after his gala appearance against the Suns. Strangely enough, in Ben McLemore (15 minutes), Harry Giles (25) and Skal Labissiere (12), three players were fouling – in the preseason.
