NFL: Bridgewater:”Believe definitely in an operation.”

The Minnesota Vikings are facing exciting weeks: during the week Teddy Bridgewater returned to training after his serious knee injury – a quarterback decision will come at some point. Bridgewater himself is optimistic.

Bridgewater, who received a green light for a comeback from the doctors at the beginning of the week, told the NFL Network on Thursday after the first training session on Wednesday:”I didn’t feel rusty at all. I am very confident. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be training.”

Minnesota now has three weeks to get him into the active squad. Otherwise Bridgewater will spend the rest of the season on the PUP list. The 24-year-old, however, is full of optimism:”I definitely believe in a mission this year. It will take hard work, the attitude must be there. The future looks bright.”

Bridgewater’s last match to date was in 2015. He then missed the entire pre-season and the first few weeks of the current season. Sam Bradford, who is under the obligation to replace him, currently has a potentially serious knee problem. The Bradford and Bridgewater contracts will expire after the season in the same way as the current starter Case Keenum.
