NFL: After alcohol addiction: Browns receiver Josh Gordon before comeback

The frozen Wide Receiver from the Cleveland Browns, Josh Gordon, has received permission from the NFL to return to the Browns’ gaming operations after his suspension. The NFL officials announced this in a letter on Wednesday.

“With immediate effect, Gordon is allowed to attend Brown’s meetings, fitness classes and individual training sessions,”the NFL told a statement,”In compliance with clinical requirements, he is allowed to attend from Monday, 20. November, to participate in the team training. From Monday, 27. “November 11th, Gordon will be available to the squad of the team.”

Gordon played his last match in Week 16 of the 2014 season against the Carolina Panthers. The 26-year-old was suspended for one year in February 2015 due to a positive alcohol test. A comeback to the 2016 season failed because Gordon volunteered to be admitted to a rehab clinic to “gain full control of my life”.

Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner, stressed that a comeback depends on Gordon’s actions:”Everyone involved in this matter wants to give him every opportunity to pursue his career. Whether this happens depends solely on Josh.”

A comeback by Gordon would offer Rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer a talented alternative in the offense of the Browns. Wide receiver Corey Coleman is still injured, his colleague Kenny Britt has not yet been able to convince.
