NBA: Lee: Better without Triangle Offense

Courtney Lee was one of the New York Knicks’ disappointments last season. In this season, the shooting guard blossoms. Lee thinks he knows why. The Knicks no longer run the Triangle Offense.

Talking to the New York Daily News, he left no doubt about it.”I’m just saying. Lee scored 17 points against Miami Heat,”We’re playing an offense that’s much faster and much better suited to my style of play.”

It was former President of Basketball, Phil Jackson, who brought Lee to Manhattan. The Guard signed a four-year contract that will earn him $50 million during this time. He currently averages 12.6 points, more than ever before in his career.

“I’m not saying I’m not a fan of the Triangle, but it’s slowing things down a little bit,”Lee tried to explain further,”Now we’re going up and down. I’m trying to do my job and enjoy it.”

The Knicks have a positive result of 11-10 and are therefore fully in the race for one of the last playoff places in the East.
