NBA: Knicks: Worries about injury to Hardaway

The New York Knicks must spend at least two weeks on Tim Hardaway Jr. without. This was announced by the team. The Shooting Guard works on an overload in the left leg. However, it could also be missing for a much longer period of time.

As the Knicks explained in a statement, Hardaway will be re-examined in two weeks. The gunner was taken out of play on the Sunday before the game against Orlando Magic. Without Hardaway, the Knicks have lost five of their six games so far.

However, the severity of the injury remains unclear. The shooter already complained about ankle and foot problems several times, but he played almost always. If it’s just an overload, Hardaway could actually be back on the court in two weeks. However, if it is a stressful fracture, the former Hawks player is likely to fail for months.

The Knicks replaced Hardaway in the past two games with Rookie Damyean Dotson in the Starting Five. Another alternative would be for Courtney Lee to slip onto the three and for Ron Baker to be used on Shooting Guard.

Hardaway played a surprisingly good season before his injury. In 21 games he played 17.8 points and 4.2 rebounds. With a few exceptions, however, it did not want to run from a distance. Of his average of 7.2 threesomes, he scuttled only 31.6 percent.
