NBA: Melo on his throwing crisis:”The hardest phase of my career.”

At the Oklahoma City Thunder, Carmelo Anthony is going through the most difficult sporting period of his career. Especially the throwing rates are on the ground. Melo himself is frustrated.

In the last four games Melo scored only 10.8 points and scored a weak 33.9 percent from the field. At the Global Games in Mexico, when the Thunder lost to the Nets, he had a particularly weak evening with a 5/20 hit rate.

“For me personally, this is probably the hardest phase of my career,” he said at a press conference. That’s frustrating, even for the team.”

The Thunders are ranked ninth in the Western Conference with a 11-13 record and are thus running behind their expectations. In the summer, they had a hard time upgrading and, in addition to Melo, they had also put superstar Paul George at the side of the incumbent MVP Russell Westbrook.
