The Monstertrade from Giancarlo Stanton to the New York Yankees seems to be perfect: the most expensive player of all time and home run leader of the past season is to change from the Miami Marlins to the Bronx according to several media reports. Stanton had beaten 59 home runs in the past 2017 season. No player has been able to do this since 2001. The 28-year-old Slugger had also been voted the most valuable player of the National League, but missed the playoffs with his Marlins.
