NFL: Return to Oakland perfect?

Jon Gruden seems to be returning to the NFL as head coach. As NFL network reporter Ian Rapoport reports, the Oakland Raiders want to introduce the 54-year-old next Tuesday.

After the Raiders had fired Jack Del Rio, Gruden was considered the favorite for the vacant position. Gruden would return to the West Coast 16 years after leaving Oakland, where he served as head coach between 1998 and 2001.

The talks are to be concluded on Monday, before Gruden will be introduced as the new head coach on Tuesday.
