NBA: Westbrook blames George-Snub:”Unbelievable”

On Wednesday night, the NBA announced the reserves for the All-Star Game 2018 and, as usual, there were some players who complained about non-nominations. Russell Westbrook in particular did not mince matters.

The current MVP had expected that his teammate Paul George would accompany him to the best in Los Angeles, but PG-13 was not nominated,”That’s incredible. In my opinion, this is outrageous,”said the normally very taciturn Westbrook.

“I don’t know who else made it to the team, but there are four players from a team in there and people who are constantly complaining that they are snubs until they are nominated,”continued Westbrook,”but the people who deserve to be there are not. I just don’t understand. It doesn’t make any sense.”

“The boy leads the league at the Steals, gives everything every day and is one of the two best in his position. It doesn’t make sense,”Westbrook said about George,”There are certain all-stars in this league. Not everyone is an all-star. Just because you got picked doesn’t mean you’re an all-star. I think it’s just outrageous. But it’s what it is.”
