NBA: Parsons denies Retirement:”Fake News”

Chandler Parsons, traditionally afflicted with injuries, has firmly denied rumours that he is considering retirement.

Parsons, who has been playing with the Memphis grizzlies since 2016, has been struggling with knee problems for some time now. He finished his last match on 30. December and even before he was forced to take long breaks or minute limits.

In the wake of this, Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal spread the rumor that the grizzlies had suggested to Parsons that they resigned due to injury. Remember: Parsons’ four-year contract, which he signed in the summer of 2016, earns him 94 million dollars. Up to now, however, he only stood on the floor 60 times for the grizzlies and scored 8.8 points.

However, the 29-year-old denies these rumors immediately. On Twitter he wrote to Ronald Tillery:”With messages like this, you’ll end your career earlier than I did. However, there is still no sign of a comeback of the forwards in the near future.
