NFL: Jets also bring Teddy Bridgewater to Josh McCown

The New York Jets did not rest after the engagement of quarterback Josh McCown and also agreed on a one-year contract with Teddy Bridgewater. However, who will ultimately start is unclear.

The jets had tried to enlist Kirk Cousins, but after this failed, they got two quarterbacks. McCown was held and Bridgewater brought in. Details of the one-year contract for the Ex-Vikings quarterback are not yet known.

McCown, who will receive tens of millions for the 2018 season, was told by signature that he would be the starter at the start of the season, as ESPN reported. Only a few hours later, however, the Bridgewater commitment became public.

In addition, the jets also signed up Running Back Isaiah Crowell, who comes from the Cleveland Browns.

As far as the QB situation at Gang Green is concerned, there will probably be four quarterbacks in the squad from Wednesday, 9 p. m. on the start of the new league year. In addition to the two veterans, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg are also under contract. And there is speculation that the jets with the sixth pick in the draft could pull another quarterback.

Bridgewater was the 32nd. Pick in Draft 2014 and was the starter of the Vikings in 2014 and 2015. Afterwards, the 25-year-old was injured so badly on his knee that he missed the entire 2016 season and only made it to one match in 2017.
