Olympia: ÖOC withdraws bid for Graz 2026

The Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC) has withdrawn the Graz/Schladming bid for the 2026 Winter Games on Friday.

The ÖOC cited the lack of support from the Styrian state government as the reason in a communication. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has already been informed of the end of the bidding efforts, it was said.
