Geraint Thomas has already secured the tour victory after the decisive time trial. He will win the tour ahead of Tom Dumoulin and his team mate Chris Froome.

The last stage leads from Houilles to Paris, where it ends, as every year, on the famous Champs-Elysees. The actual goal is already reached after 61.5 kilometers. However, the drivers then complete eight more laps on the finish line before the section ends after 116 kilometres.

The profile is largely flat and predestined for a bunch sprint.

The last stage of this year’s Tour de France starts at 4:15 pm and is expected to end between 7:01 pm and 7:19 pm. In contrast to the previous stages, this time Das Erste broadcasts the entire stage from the start and also offers the broadcast as a live stream.

Eurosport 1 also shows the stage in its entire length and also offers a free live stream.

The yellow jersey will not be attacked on the final leg anyway.

Geraint Thomas proved to be the most consistent and best driver the whole tour, so he deserves to be at the top of the podium in Paris. A surprise were the staggering performances of four-time Tour winner Chris Froome. He showed weaknesses again and again in the mountains, but in the end he finished third.

Fernando Gaviria and Dylan Groenwegen, who each won two mass arrivals, were the most convincing sprinters. Alaphilippe and Sagan also won two and three stages in addition to their jerseys.
