NBA: Trade! Cavs must be sending Korver to Utah.

According to media reports, the Cleveland Cavaliers sent Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz. In return the Cavs will get two second round picks and Alec Burks from the Jazz.

This is what Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Korver already played for the Mormons between 2007 and 2010 and should provide more shooting for the Jazz. With just under 32 percent of downtown, only the Oklahoma City Thunder have hit worse than Utah so far.

The 37-year-old still has a contract until 2020, which earns him around 7.5 million dollars per season. However, only 3.44 million are guaranteed for the final year of the contract, the deadline being 7 July 2019. This season, Korver played 16 games in which he scored an average of 6.8 points and sank 46.3 per cent of his threesome.

In return, Cleveland will receive a Shooting Guard with Alec Burks, whose contract expires in 2019. The 27-year-old is collecting $11.3 million over this period. Burks’ injury to Donovan Mitchell last saw him play more in Utah and this season he played an average of 17.8 minutes, in which he scored 8.4 points at 41.2 per cent from the field.

In addition to Burke, the Cavs will also receive two second round picks. According to information from Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, these are Utah’s own second round pick 2020 and the second rounder of the Wizards the Jazz owned.

Cavs received: Alec Burks, second round pick 2020, second round pick 2021 (Wizards)
