Tour de France: Watch the 18th stage live on TV, live stream and live ticker today

After the last three mountainous stages, the sprinters can once again show their skills today. Here you can get all information about the stage on Thursday and the broadcast on TV and live stream.

Recovery expert Nairo Quintana won the 17th stage and made a big jump in the overall standings. Tour favourite Chris Froome lost a few seconds to Geraint Thomas.

In contrast to the last three stages, the 18th stage is a very flat stage, which is mainly designed for sprinters. It begins in Tries-sur-Baise and ends in Pau, 171 km away.

Today there are only two small mountain classifications, which each bring only one point. Everything points to the fact that the sprinters around the German hope John Degenkolb will finish in a big bunch sprint.

The 18th stage starts at 1.55 pm. ARD will not broadcast the race until 4.05 p.m., but before that the race can be seen again on One. You can also follow the race in the free ARD live stream.

As usual, Eurosport will also show the race live from 3 pm. A livestream is also available here, but it is subject to a fee.

You are also welcome to follow the race in our live ticker.

For the fifth time in a row there have been no changes to the jerseys. As long as Peter Sagan reaches the finish line of the final stage, the green jersey cannot be taken away from him. Julian Alaphillipe also has a big lead on the mountain jersey and impressively confirmed again yesterday that there is no way past him this year.

In the fight for the overall standings, Geraint Thomas attacked on the mountain two kilometres before the finish. Team mate and captain Chris Froome could not follow, so he slipped to third place of the overall standings (+2:31 behind). Second-placed Tom Dumoulin (+1:59) could not keep up Thomas’ pace either, but lost five seconds.

Besides Thomas, the tour is also perfect for Peter Sagan. The Slovakian already has three stage victories on his account and is expected to win the sprint classification. Two stage victories went to Thomas, Dylan Groenewegen, Fernando Gaviria and Julian Alaphillipe.
